Simplicity (English Version)
Sitting at the edge of a garden, surrounded by gentle and engaging conversations, I escape for a moment, captivated by the graceful dance of a bird.
The words blend in my mind, they sift and then fall completely silent.
Suddenly, silence fills the garden, and that bird, so small, so graceful, takes up all the space; takes up all of my space.
It dances from one side to the other, it leaps.
I am captured by this moment of back and forth, and this shape of a semicircle that never seems to close.
This half spiral echoes within me. From my belly, my neck, my head, I feel my body dance.
Two small bodies dancing, far from conversations and obligations.
This dance captivates me. I hear nothing more; I see only it.
This dancing bird allows me to escape, to take flight.
Time stands still. This dancing energy soothes me.
And what if I were to hold, between my belly and my head, a little moment of poetry?
A poetry that is very real, tangible.
How could I have forgotten to contemplate this magic that surrounds us, the one that hides in the heart of nature?
How can we forget to admire the simple and fleeting moments, such as the graceful flight of a bird?
I find this simplicity so beautiful, so enchanting.
To marvel at the simple nourishes the soul.
